Alwar: Five men in Neemrana, Rajasthan allegedly gang-raped 2 women on Friday. The men were in Rajasthan as they were planning to murder a businessman. The two women, who are employees of a three-star hotel, were gang-raped at gunpoint by the accused.
The two women were evacuated safely by the police. The accused were identified as Naresh Gujjar, Lokesh, Rahul, Danveer and Prince Tiwari. Allegedly, the accused entered the hotel on Friday and asked the manager to arrange sex workers for them.
Accused gang-raped women at gunpoint
Sometime later, two of the accused forcibly entered the rooms where the female staffers were sleeping. The accused then raped the two women at gunpoint while three of them stood guard.
Meanwhile, the manager went to the nearby police station and told the cops that some guests had checked into the hotel. The man also told the police that the accused were carrying weapons.
Bhiwadi SP Rammoorti Joshi formed teams after being informed about the police and ordered other cops to cordon the hotel, The Times of India reported. The police then raided the premises and rescued the two women. The five men were also arrested by the police.
Accused were planning to murder businessman
Probe revealed that the accused had demanded a ransom worth Rs 20 lakh from a businessman who was identified as Naresh Jat. Jat works as the chairman of a housing society. The five men were allegedly planning to murder the businessman if he did not pay the money.
As per the cops, Gujjar had been jailed in a murder case before being released and jumping parole in April. The cops also confiscated two pistols and live cartridges from the accused.
